| Criteria: | The annotation was performed using gene structure prediction programs (PROSITE, ProDom, FGENESH, and GeneMark program) and by comparison with the available ESTs and cDNAs sequences, which were obtained by searching the NCBI, TIGR, Rice GD databanks, and the library of 28,000 full-length rice cDNA (Kikuchi et al. (2003) Science 301:376-379). The predicted proteins were then analyzed for the presence of conserved APx domains and homology with typical APx sequences. |
